The Plowboys team has been catering for private events for over a decade. Small parties grew to feeding large weddings, corporate events, and festivals. Catering has been our passion and lead to the Plowboys BBQ restaurants, but first and foremost we see ourselves as caterers. Logistical planning is key to a successful catering event. In fact, one of our largest events to date was serving 2800 people over three days at the Iowa State Fairgrounds.
The heart of our catering operation is Plowboys co-owner, Audrey Johns, who is referred to as the "Catering Queen". Audrey has helped thousands of office managers, brides, and party planners tailor a menu specific for their vision and budget. Audrey's confident and reassuring style is often just what a young bride requires when managing all of the details for that special day. You can be assured that one of our owners is planning, often preparing and executing that catering.

Owner & Director of Catering
Audrey has been helping to plan catering events since 2001. Prior to that, she spent 26 years in document publishing and software testing at Assurant.
When Audrey is not helping to feed large groups at special events she enjoys camping and traveling with her family.
